You simply need a location such as an ftp server that you and your
customers have access to. So perhaps you could provide this yourself.
Then the customer logs on and deposits/picks up files.
Bots connects to the ftp server and moves/translates these files to/
from your applications.
Your customer may also need some way of moving/translating the files
at their end... they could use Bots too, unless they already have a
solution for this.
The important thing is the file format. If you are keen to initiate
EDI but the customer has little or no technical resource it can be
difficult. You can take the attitude that you will take whatever they
can give you, and build your own grammars and mapping in Bots to use
it.
